What the estimate is
The instant estimate is a price range calculated from public county property records and the answers you give. It is not an offer and it is not a contract. It is our honest best figure from the information available without seeing the house.
It becomes a firm price only after a walk-through, and only when we send you a written firm quote. That quote states what it includes, what it excludes, how long the price is held, and what the work will cost. That is the document that means something.
County records are sometimes wrong or out of date. If the recorded size or construction of your house does not match what is actually there, the estimate will be off, and the walk-through is where that gets corrected.
Using this site
Use it to get a price on a property you own or are authorised to act for. Please don’t scrape it, use it to price other people’s houses at scale, or try to break it. The pricing method, rate card and content are ours.
What you tell us
The estimate is only as good as what it is given. If the condition, scope or access you describe turns out not to match the house, the price changes — and we will tell you before doing the work, not after.
Photographs
Photos you upload are used to assess the job. A person reviews them; nothing is priced automatically from a photograph. We will not publish a picture of your house without asking you first.
Financing
Where monthly payment figures appear, they are illustrative unless a specific lender has made you an offer. Any credit is provided by a third-party lender on its own terms, subject to its approval, and the agreement is between you and them.
The work itself
When you accept a firm quote, your contract is with Fast Painting. The crew works under our work order. The warranty, the scope and the payment schedule are set out on that quote, and they govern over anything on this website.
Liability
We provide this site and the estimate in good faith and take care to make them accurate, but we don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or that every figure will be exact — it is an estimate, which is why we say so. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for our own negligence in performing work.
